About Me:
I have been building and modifying things since I was a child. My father taught me metalworking, and my mother taught me woodworking. My skills and interests developed and resulted in me becoming a high school technology teacher.
After becoming a teacher, I became fascinated with blacksmithing due to watching Forged in Fire. I started building my own equipment and knives. As I improved my skills, family and friends began to take notice. I mainly made custom order knives and tools to meet their needs. Later, I was approached by a casting director for Forged in Fire, and ended up competing on the show. It was a blast to compete, and I am still in touch with the other guys from the show (Neil, Josh, and Brian).
I am currently working on developing my own set of knives and improving my tooling. I am hoping to begin my journey to becoming an ABS Mastersmith within the next year, and plan to document my progress on my YouTube channel.
